Home-schooling? You'll Like These Pictures!

Home Schooling

The kids start the day with Mom supervising breakfast.

Then off to school they go.
Everyone has an assigned seat in the classroom.

After resting up, they're ready for some fun.
Where's Waldo is their favorite game.

Before you know it, everyone is tired out.

When the kids get home from their busy school day, it's time for a bath.
Then they dry off before bedtime.

Put a smile on your face,
And a song in your heart!

The Scientist and I loved these pictures! Right now she's thinking she wants to be a vet when she grows up!

I am glad that you both liked them. They put a smile on one's face, don't they? Wow, she has big plans! That's neat! May Christ guide each of you step by step to whatever He has in store for her and all of you! :)

6 days until we get our puppy... I'm getting a little nervous. I've been watching episodes of The Dog Whisperer on National Geographic. While I don't ascribe to his concept of "energy", he sure can analyze human/pet relationships! Do you ever watch the show?

Hi TK! No, I have never watched his show or heard of him. I used to hear about a lady on The Animal Planet channel who thought she could tell the owners what their pets were "communicating" to them; however, I didn't watch her. She was a little too out there for me.

Anyway, how old will your puppy be when you get him? Puppies are so sweet, but they are a lot of work. They are definitely worth it though. We trained with a pinch collar and then went to an electric collar because our dog ran off three times. He has done well since the last time running off; however, he will never be off his leash!! We have a friend who is a great dog trainer who helped us with training our Golden Mix, and he also helped us train our little weiner dog we had before this dog. He always said that the timing of the command/correction, consistency, and praise are the most important. It makes sense, but sometimes it is harder than it seems. Anyway, I bet you guys will do just fine. These critters are such blessings from God and such company. I think that God gives us wisdom to know how to deal with them too,but that is as far as I go with that. Some people have their dogs blessed, etc., but we don't do that kind of stuff.

Have fun with him! You'll have to do another post on him and keep us all abreast of your new adventure with him! :)
