Speaking of Marriage ...

Speaking of marriage, I thought I should mention that Scottius Maximus is my husband. Some of you besides TK may have figured it out already. :) He keeps me in stitches, and I keep him in reliving the Lucy shows with my Lucy moments! :) Just for the record, it isn't the conniving schemes that he relives! It is the zany things I do or say!

You know whats really strange. in our house we have Lolly moments. my nickname is Lolly and whenever i do something silly its called a Lollyism. very interesting that our paths have crossed at this time.

Thank-you for kind words. I will definitely put up some posts about life in africa. is there any in particular that you would like to know about?

May you have a wonderfully blessed day!

Hi Lauren! I believe that there is a plan and purpose for everything that happens, and I am thankful that our paths have crossed. I am anxious to read more about your life in Africa and how you came to live there, etc. I am glad that you and your husband have fun together. I think men like to tease their wives. I know my husband and our son love to tease me, but they try to be respectful about it (usually :).

I had a sneaking suspicion about you and that Scottius Maximus! :) I am glad that God helped you restore your marriage. My husband and I love to tease each other; he teases me about my "chick" moments and I tease him about being a major geek! But we've also had the blessing of encouraging each other to be our best and try new things. For example, my husband was the one who really helped me learn how to sew!

Isn't is a blessing to have our spouses?
It sounds like you have a very special marriage and friendship as well. :)
How did he help you learn how to sew?

I didn't know much about sewing, but I was interested in it for a long time. My husband knew that, so he got me a machine and encouraged me to use it. He's been there for me when I've had moments of frustration and wanted to give up on sewing altogether. Being more mechanically inclined than I, he's helped me at times with the intricacies of the machines I have. And he's gotten me books and notions and a new machine or two when we can afford it.

When did you start wondering about us? And thank you for the kind words. God has been very gracious to us, and may all glory go to Him!
