HELP!

Lucy fans, do you remember this episode when Lucy has trouble crossing the border from Italy to France because she didn't have her "passaport" (according to Ricky's lingo)? Remember that phone call she made to Ricky and left the message of "Help!" for Ricky? Ricky would automatically know that once again a problem in Lucy's life had arisen!

The Beatles apparently agreed with her and made a song just for her (Okay, so who am I kidding? We all know it was John Lennon pleading for help in his life. He is the one on the far right with the acoustic guitar for those who don't know and think that a beatle is an annoying bug).
HELP! ---You will probably need Flash 8 Player to view this promo video.

I would like to add a simple "thank you" to our son who made this post possible thanks to his extensive Beatles' knowledge (He is a Beatles fanatic).

This put a smile on my face. Lucy and the Beatles; what a great combo. This post is the perfect place for me to tell you my Lucy story from this morning. A local radio station was giving away the complete last season of I Love Lucy episodes if the caller knew how many episodes were filmed in that last year. My guesses were terrible: 7 and 10. (yes, I actually got through twice) Then, I decided to guess 27. I could not get through to the radio station that time and was disappointed to hear that my third try had been correct! Oh well! I thought of you during that contest. :)

Thanks for commenting TK! Our son was beginning to think that our post wasn't going to receive any comments! Yes, I had liked some of the Beatles' songs prior to his "obsession" with them! :) However, once he started playing them over and over again, I was hooked!! We all have a lot of fun listening to them and some other music as well! (I have even grown to like some of the Led Zeplin songs thanks to my husband! :)I detested them before but discovered that they have some pretty cool songs!)Anyway, our son was tickled that you made a comment!

Wow, I am impressed that you have a radio station that would have such a great contest! We have some good radio stations; however, they never do anything neat like giving Lucy shows (or seasons) away! At least we do get opportunities to win Cardinal tickets!:) That's a nice treat too!

That's amazing that you did get through twice! If you are really interested in any of the seasons, Best Buy has them for a reasonable price (around $50 -55 dollars, maybe less than that). Other stores (The Lucy websites and Lucy stores hike them up anywhere from $90 on up!!) Of course, winning one is even better! Hopefully you will have another
chance one of these days! Thanks for thinking of me! Blessings!

Oh, when will you get your puppy?

Holy Cow! $50+ dollars?!? Now I really wish I had won. KOOL 108 is the station and they are always giving stuff like that away. You can listen on the internet. KOOL108 is my favorite station because they play songs from the 60's and 70's. On Saturday nights, they have a fun 80's show. They also play lots of Beatles music, so my 14 year old son tolerates the station. My favorite shows are the Jeff Olson Morning Show and Beatle Brunch Sundays. It sometimes conflicts with church, but we can usually listen beforehand. If you are really tech-saavy you can record it off the internet since the station broadcasts on line. Just go to KOOL108.com

Thanks TK! We will have to check out KOOL 108 on the internet as you suggested! I am anxious to listen to it!! We like to listen to Beatle Brunch too, but it depends on what time we go to church and Sunday School too.

The I Love Lucy seasons have actually gone down in price, but that price of $50 seems "cheap" compared to the other places I told you about. We have bought The Dick Van Dyke seasons for about $70 which is a lot; however, we watch them over and over again! We are just going to have to see what we can win by listening to KOOL 108! Keep trying!! :)

Can't wax on about the Cardinals, new puppies or KOOL 108 (which I;m sure is just fab) but I can shar a bit of Love for our Lucy. I was just LOL remembering the passaport scenes when I decided to see if I cd get an image or two. And here they are! Interesting connection between the Fab Four and, well, the Fab Four -- Lucy, Ethel, Ricky and Fred.

And I have a vitameatavegamin magnet on my refrigerator. So, LL, I'm loving your site!

Hi Divacardista! That's a neat comparison between Lucy, Ethel, Ricky, and Fred and the Beatles! They were all terrific, weren't they? It is nice to meet another Lucy fan!! I will be checking out your blog!! Blessings!
