Unexpected Rewards

"It is impossible that reward should not follow when we seek God in a purely selfless spirit, without any expectation of reward and advantage." (Martin Luther)

"He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him." Hebrews 11:6

Did you just want to share this quote, or did you have an expected reward come your way? Share! :)

Is it ever possible for us sinful humans to do anything selflessly though?

No, it was something I was reading, and I was just wanting to share it on my blog. I will say that God has truly blessed us in so many unbelievable ways; it is truly amazing. I try to NOT think of the "rewards"; however, as you pointed out, we can never do anything selflessly though. Even if we try to do something with the purest of intentions, it is still flawed with some selfish desires deep down.
