I just had to post this picture after Scottius Maximus previously posted another Gary Larson cartoon! We have always loved this cartoon since we have had A LOT of experiences with wiener dogs! If you have had one or know of someone who does have one then you will understand this cartoon!
I'm glad you liked riding! I came home last month from riding (for the first time in 15 years) with a mammoth bruise on my knee from a horse who liked to rub against the trees.
The trot gait is much harder on the rider than the canter. The canter is much smoother. If you ar not afraid of the speed give it a try!
Hi Marie! I think you are more knowledgeable about horses than me. I don't mind a slow trot but that's it! I would love to gallop; however, I don't think my body would care for the adventure! :)
I am happily married and love being a home-schooling mom. I love Lucy, and I sometimes end up imitating her zany antics. I also love dogs and have a great Golden Mix dog.

I miss Far Side cartoons! Never truely understood why Gary Larson retired - burnout I guess.
I've see that one before - a good one!
I miss them too - they were great! I bet the demand to "keep up" the pace was overwhelming.
Larson burnt out a couple of times. He took a couple of sabbaticals, then I guess he called it quits.

Those trees can be a little wicked, huh?
